Detailed description
Ascomata erumpent from dead leaves, up to 0.5 mm long, 0.25 mm high, black. This specific fungus has not been described. The ascospores of Glonium species are cylindrical, slightly curved, medianly 1-septate, and pale brown.

Known from a collection made in April 1993.
Substrate
On dead leaves of Desmoschoenus spiralis.
