Brief description
Leaves and the flowering stem arise from a pseudostem; leaves described as “… solitary; petiole 10-40 cm long, usually longer than the pseudostem; lamina radiately 7-15-foliolate” (Jenn-Che Wang 1996); petiole green and purple spotted. Flowers minute, on a spadix surrounded by a purple-black spathe.
